"Called on Friday the 21st and got an immediate appointment on the 22nd. Mike, Tim and the shop were great as usual. My bike works great now as they diagnosed the problem and replaced the shifter. "Called Old Fort Friday afternoon when installing new exhaust on my 08 Nightster. Mike worked me in for Saturday morning and installed the EFI Super Tuner. My bike works great and the parts person was great help in getting the right fittings and gaskets for the pipes I purchased. Thank you for all your feedback and help. I was a little upset that I couldn't get the fuelpak to fit but the Super Tuner works great in its place and I thank Old Fort and the professionalism that they demonstrated in getting my bike ready to go. "I decided to learn to ride and began to look for a bike and settled on the idea of purchasing a Sporty 883. Before I got to Old Fort Harley, I'd looked around quite a bit and done my homework, but was not satisfied with my either the price or my interactions with some of the other dealers. I emailed Old Fort on a Sunday with what I was looking for and the fact that I didn't want to be pushed into something I didn't want. Imagine my surprise when on the same day I received a warm, introductory email from Frank promising to get back to me with more details soon. I was impressed--even more so when he really did get back to me. We exchanged several emails, and the next weekend I went down to Old Fort Harley to meet him. The entire shopping/purchase experience was a blast. Everyone at the dealership--from the owners, to the parts guys, and the service folks were funny, warm, patient and thorough. "I had my stator go out while down for the BBB ralley last week and Tim Swindle the service manager got me in right away to get it fixed. I made an appointment that morning and he got me in by 11:00, when I showed up with the bike it went into the shop within 10 minutes of getting there. He suggested a nice place for lunch and beers while we waited. He said it would be about 3 1/2 hours. Randy the mechanic worked through his lunch hour to get her done so we could get back to vacationing. Excellent customer service. The only gripe I have is that I am a HOG member from back to 92 and they couldn't come pick up the bike or didn't have a loaner. What the Hell good is a HOG membership with road side assistance if you are left out on the road to fend for your self. I had to take the battery out of my bike at the camp ground, charge it up all night, then disconnect all the lights so I could make the 50-60 mile trip down to get to the shop. Lucky I had friend along with a tow rope in case I didn't make it. Regards, Randy Ascheman P.S. Chris Stem must be one of the best in the business, because she made my dream come true. She went out of her way to help me with my purchase. It was an exciting and very easy transaction. "We were pretty depressed being so far from home with bike problems until we pulled into your dealership. The shifter linkage had fallen loose and the bike was losing all electrical power at times (even stopped within sight of your dealership). When we stopped, we were greeted by your service staff immediately and they began to work on the bike very soon. Everyone there treated us like family and we knew we were in good hands. Even though the intermittent electrical couldn't be found, the bike hasn't quit again.
